What we collect

Squad50 collects only what's needed to run the app:

• Google account info — your name, email, and profile photo when you sign in with Google
• Application count — the number of job applications you log each day
• Streak and XP data — your daily streaks and experience points
• Group data — groups you create or join, and messages you send in group chat
• Tasks — personal and shared tasks you create

How we use your data

• To show your progress and streaks on the leaderboard
• To enable group chat and squad features
• To send you reminders and notifications about your daily target
• We never sell your data to anyone
• We never use your data for advertising

Chrome extension permissions

• All websites (host permission) — required to show the floating + widget on every website so you can log applications while browsing job sites
• Storage — saves your login and count locally so the widget works without signing in every time
• Notifications — sends streak reminders and milestone alerts
• Alarms — schedules hourly reminders and the Friday mock interview reminder
• Tabs — opens the Squad50 web app when you hit your daily target

Data storage

Your data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Firestore), hosted on Google's infrastructure. Only you and members of your groups can see your data.

Deleting your data

You can delete all your data at any time from the Settings page inside the app. This permanently removes everything — your profile, streaks, chat messages, and application history.
